Those who intend to pursue charity careers may be interested to learn the details of an upcoming event, when a famous musical will help raise money for children’s charities.
A special gala performance of Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales theatre will comprise part of the BBC's Children in Need programme.
Supported by BBC London 94.9FM, the event could help contribute towards the reported £37.8 million achieved for last year’s fundraiser, which will support disadvantaged children in the UK.
Commenting on the upcoming show, producer Judy Craymer said: "Mamma Mia! has always been keen to support Children In Need in some form, so it’s fantastic that the charity can benefit from the revenue of this special performance."
The show will take place on November 18th and the cast will include Katy Secombe, Jane Gurnett and Sally Ann Triplett.
Across the globe, organisers have claimed that over 40 million people have watched Mamma Mia!
